100 MHz – 18.0 GHz Transceiver
Planar Monolithics Industries (PMI) presents the PTRAN-100M18G-SFB-3UVPX-10HP-MAH transceiver designed for use in applications with an operating frequency range of 100 MHz to 18.0 GHz. This device is able to up-convert 100 MHz – 4.0 GHz transmit signals to the 2.0 to 18.0 GHz range, as well as down-convert transmit signals from 100 MHz – 18.0 GHz to the 100 MHz – 4.0 GHz intermediate frequency range for analog to digital conversion.
The PMI transceiver features a receive filter bank incorporating a 2-way absorptive switch to select an input, along with two 6-way switches allowing one of the six filter paths to be chosen. This unit is made to attach to an FPGA controller card, which creates a total solution in a 10 HP form factor.
