ALifecom Upgrades 5G Network Emulators With mmWave Test Solution

To enable user equipment manufacturers' next-gen products

ALifecom 5G Network Emulator Signaling Test System now supports mmWave (FR2) mode for both Standalone (SA) and Non-Standalone (NSA) network emulation. This upgrade enables user equipment manufacturers to develop, verify and test the performance of their next-gen products with mmWave capabilities up to 44 GHz.

mmWave Upgrade Overview
The upgrade package is available for new and existing SA systems (NE7500) and NSA systems (NE6000+NE7500). The upgrade package consists:

• Firmware Update
• mmWave Transceiver Module
• Horn Antenna for OTA test
• Cables and Adapters

For conducting a 5G test in the FR2 frequency band, the Network Emulator is connected to the mmWave transceiver and creates the connection to the UE via OTA testing. The user-friendly GUI allows easy verification and performance testing of the DUT.

ALifecom Network Emulators are compatible with a range of horn antennas and antenna arrays to allow the user to integrate with the antenna test chamber. ALifecom works with leading OTA test chamber manufacturers to provide a total test solution to our customers.
