ComNav Engineering began as a product group in the ceramic department of Control Devices, a GTE subsidiary. In our efforts to improve filter performance, we developed a superior coating technique that yielded unparalleled unloaded Q and adhesion. After three years of research and development, we hit the market with our unique and innovative designs. These techniques, along with the development of proprietary cross-coupling and pole/zero filter typologies, are the foundation of the low-loss, high-performance filter structures that ComNav is known for today.
