FCC-4 Tuned Dipole Antenna - 325 MHz - 1000 MHz Datasheet

Source: A.H. Systems

A.H. Systems FCC-4 half-wave dipole antenna, also know as the reference dipole antenna, is the simplest form of antenna.

This dipole consists of a matching balun and two horizontal elements and includes a mounting clamp, and a tape measure to adjust the element lengths. Each antenna element is adjusted to a quarter wavelength (half wavelength total) this will create a precise resonating response at the frequency of interest.

The antenna balun is constructed per the W. K. Roberts design as specified in the ANSI C63.5 standard and consists of a folded balun that converts the 70-ohm (at resonance) to 50-ohm impedance. This balun design exhibits a low VSWR, low balun loss and can handle power up to 60 watts.

Features

  • F.C.C. Antenna Balun Design
  • Omni-directional, Receive and Transmit
  • Individually Calibrated (1, 3 and 10 Meter calibration included, horizontal polarization)
  • Rugged Construction with low balun loss, low VSWR
  • Three Year Warranty
