Millimeter Wave Scalar and Conical Horn Antennas: SFH/CHA Series
The SFH and CHA Series of millimeter wave scalar and conical horn antennas are ideal for applications involving radar systems, Gaussian optics systems, EW/ELINT, illumination, and instrumentation. They can also be used as feeds for Cassegrain antennas.
These antennas feature low cross-polarization, low sidelobes, polarization options, a symmetric radiation pattern, and a wide range of beamwidths.
The physical and electromagnetic symmetry of the SFH millimeter wave scalar horn antennas allow for multiple polarization or polarization-independent operation. Additionally, they have nearly identical beamwidths in E- and H- planes through E-plane wall suppression.
The CHA millimeter wave conical horn antennas are a cost-effective alternative to the scalar feedhorns, with beamwidths ranging from 10º to 60º. They have lower sidelobe levels than pyramidal horns because the TE11 mode electric field distribution is tapered in both dimensions of the horn aperture.
