Real Time Spectrum Analyzers: RSA500A Series
Tektronix’ new RSA500A series of portable spectrum analyzers is specifically designed for tracking down elusive interferers, maintaining RF networks, and keeping high quality records. This USB-based analyzer captures 40 MHz bandwidths, operates over the 9 kHz to 3.0/7.5 GHz range, and performs with high fidelity in harsh environments. Ideal applications include spectrum management, interference hunting, and maintenance, installation, and repair of radio networks.
The RSA500A series is equipped with a USB form factor that enables the control to be moved to a lightweight PC for faster operation in each application for a longer amount of time. An optional tracking generator allows for gain/loss measurements for quick testing of filters, duplexers, and other network elements. Cable and antenna measurements of VSWR, return loss, distance to fault, and cable loss can be added as needed.
