Sivers Semiconductors Is Granted A €1.2M (Approx. SEK 14 M) EU Grant For The Design Of A 6G Chip

Sivers Semiconductors AB (publ) (“Sivers”) announces today that its business unit, Sivers Wireless, has been awarded a EUR 1.2 million (approx. SEK 14 M) EU grant from HORIZON Europe as part of a larger consortium, to design building blocks within millimeter wave for the next generation 6G technology. The grant will cover 90% of the Sivers funding for the 6G project and run for 3.5 years, 50% of the funding will be paid by the EU before the end of the year.

Sivers Wireless will be responsible for the RF front-end design below 100 GHz, and in addition, Sivers will also co-design a broadband off-chip antenna with the front-end circuit.
