0402 Wirewound Inductor

The performance advantages of wirewound chip inductors are now available in a 0402 body size. The 0402CS series measures just 0.047 x 0.025 x 0.024 in. high. The top is encapsulated to provide a smooth surface for reliable pick and place handling. Twenty-one part numbers cover the inductance range from 1 to 40 nH with available tolerances of ±5% or 10%.

A 2.2 nH part has a Q factor of 100 at 1.8 GHz while 43 is the highest Q published by competitors at the same frequency.
