Antenna Design/Analysis
PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
The Q-Net Satellite Bandwidth Manager is an open, scalable, fully-featured satellite resource management system utilizing new technology that combines unparalleled bandwidth-efficiency with flexible carrier management, and eliminates the choice between TDMA and SCPC solutions.
HUBER+SUHNER offers an array of antenna solutions customized to meet specific application needs. Various modifications can be made including an individual bracket for faster installation, tailored lengths for saving space, and standard labels for simplifying logistics.
HUBER+SUHNER’s direct GPS-Over-Fiber (GPSoF) solution is designed to enable a fiber optic connection directly into an antenna for the world’s first “truly copperless” link. This solution uses HUBER+SUHNER’s Q-ODC fiber optic interface, making it perfect for applications that have limited power resources and for use in outdoors or harsh environments.
The challenges involved with measuring an antenna’s radiation characteristics when it’s mounted on a large platform stem from the fact that it’s very difficult to accurately simulate an antenna’s interaction with an electrically large environment.
FEKO software is a comprehensive electromagnetic (EM) analysis software suite, building on state of the art computational EM (CEM) techniques to provide users with software that can solve a wide range of electromagnetic problems.
Antenna technology is constantly advancing to meet the growing demands of industry. Likewise, Remcom has been keeping pace in order to provide engineers with a suite of tools that match their processes and help them meet their design requirements.
Some of the antenna analysis areas Remcom specializes in include:
- WiFi/Wireless LAN/WiMAX
- Mobile Devices (cellular, Bluetooth, GPS)
- Antenna Arrays
- General Antenna
The Re-Entry Vehicle Toolbox from the IDS Computational Electromagnetic Laboratory has been integrated into the ADF-EMS v5.1 system. The software aims to provide a set of capabilities for the analysis and optimization of RF links between a re-entry vehicle and ground or satellite relay stations.
