The PS-1200, PS-2500, and PS-6500 fractional-N synthesizers increase frequency resolution by four orders of magnitude compared to alternative solutions
Conexant, PS-2500, and PS-6500 fractional-N synthesizers increase frequency resolution by four orders of magnitude compared to alternative solutions. Using a delta-sigma fractional-N approach eliminates the need to divide the crystal by a large number to achieve fine step sizes while maintaining a high internal reference. The process allows finer step sizes, while achieving good phase noise performance (-92 dBc/Hz up to 2.5 GHz). As a result, the loop filter bandwidth can be opened and faster switching speeds can be achieved.
Conexant is designed for applications that require low-power, low phase noise, fine step sizes and fast switching speeds. The PS-2500 is designed for applications that require low power, low phase noise, fine step sizes and fast switching speeds.
The PS-6500 can be used in applications that require low power, low phase noise and a high operating frequency. Features include a 3.5 GHz or higher fundamental frequency, reducing phase noise to increase the performance.
Conexant is priced at $4.90, the PS-2500 is priced at $5.90 and the PS-6500 is priced at $10.00.
