Airborne Synthesized FQPSK Telemetry Transmitter

L-3 Communications Inc.T400QF Series Airborne Synthesized FQPSK (FETHER'S Quadrature Phase Shift Keying) Telemetry Transmitter. The new ST400QF takes video and high data rate telemetry to a new level of bandwidth efficiency. It is available in 2, 5, 8 and 10 watts minimum power and up to 40 watts when used in conjunction with PA220S or PA440S Power amps. They are designed for operation in aerospace environments where size, weight, efficiency and frequency agility are important. The housing measures 15 Cubic inches and weighs 18 oz.

The frequency range can be remotely controlled from 2.2 to 2.3 GHZ, in 1 MHz steps in a 100 MHz band. The ST400QF output frequency stability is +/-0.002% of specified, including setting tolerance and drift due to environment.
