Digital Delay/Pulse Generator: Model 577
Berkeley Nucleonics’ model 577 is a digital delay/pulse generator with its own trigger, its own gate, its own delay and width settings, and eight outputs – each configurable with their own pattern. It provides precise delays and widths with 250pS resolution for times up to 1000 seconds.
Ideal areas of application include:
- Trigger, gate, delay, pulse, or sync experiments on lasers
- External clock synchronization
- Master/slave or multiple unit slave; complex burst functions
- Control front-end, Q-switch, flashlamp, PIV, laser/pump, and laser timing
The 577 digital delay/pulse generator is available in 2, 4, and 8 channel configurations. It’s especially well-suited for applications in which several pulses or gate signals need to be delayed and timed with respect to each other or to the common trigger. This is accomplished with internal clocks (50pS) and through the use of an external trigger (800pS).
