Electronically Steerable Frontend For Qualifying Automotive Radar
The automotive industry is experiencing a surge in innovation driven by AD and ADAS technologies. To ensure the successful operation of radar sensors, it is necessary to test them in various scenarios such as driving in cities, inter-urban travel, and detecting pedestrians. In order to reach ADAS levels 4 and 5, HIL and VIL test scenarios with complex target simulation capabilities are required.
Furthermore, there is a growing demand for benchtop radar simulation and functional tests. While software simulations are valuable, they cannot replicate real-world sensor responses. Road testing is essential to validate a final product, but it is costly and difficult to replicate. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct further testing throughout the entire sensor development value chain to test autonomous driving functions under various lab conditions.
