He focuses on technologies such as Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi, and UWB, in which role he is also representing Rohde & Schwarz in the FiRa consortium. Jörg has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry and is well known as a speaker and host of webinars and the video series “Let’s talk IoT”. Prior to joining Rohde & Schwarz, he worked as a System Architect, Project Leader, and Director of System Engineering and Technology Strategy Manager at Siemens and Nokia Siemens Networks. He also had the pleasure of running one of the first Wi-Fi field trials in Germany more than 20 years ago.

Before joining Rohde & Schwarz in 2005, Hagen had spent more than 8 years with ENEA, a Swedish software company. He has thorough knowledge of the embedded software business, primarily in embedded operating systems for the mobile communications, mobile infrastructure and automotive industries. Hagen holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rostock, Germany.
