Phase Invariant Cable And Assemblies: CT Product Family
The HUBER+SUHNER CT product family is developed for phase critical applications requiring precision electrical length connectivity. They create a stable and reliable interconnect solution to satisfy a huge range of customer applications where phase stability is key. These products provide the industry leading phase vs. temperature performance, as well as a unique range of cable constructions to fulfill any customer demands.
Depending on the application, there is a broad variety of product lines available:
Sucoform CT phase invariant cables are developed for static applications requiring space saving routing.
Semi-rigid CT phase invariant pre-formed assemblies are developed for static applications requiring space and time saving installations.
Multiflex CT phase invariant assemblies are developed for flexible applications requiring high flex life and maximum stability.
Minibend CT & Mini 141 CT cable assemblies use lightweight flexible cables. All utilize triple shields for superior RF shielding, with a foamed fluorine polymer dielectric increasing velocity and avoiding the PTFE knee for superior phase stability over temperature changes. The flat wire braid outer conductor provides low loss plus excellent insertion loss stability with flexure. The stainless steel outer braid provides improved mechanical pull strength when compared to cables with a copper wire outer braid.
Cable used for Minibend CT and Mini 141 CT cables assemblies comply with MIL-PRF-17 and are also especially suitable for space applications. Check out the video below for more information.
